Unconnected Orange Cable

Checking the key switch is something you should do whenever there is a problem with an orange cable that is not attached.

You are responsible for making sure that the orange wire is connected to either a key switch or an on/off switch.

No Voltage

When using the Lenco trim tabs, you could run across situations where the battery has no voltage or is extremely low.

When the battery is not producing any voltage, check if the in-line fuse or breaker has tripped or been blown out. If that’s the case, you should charge the battery.

Before using the device, you should conduct a battery test and ensure that it is fully charged.

Issues With The Deutsch Power Pigtail Plug

Check the male and female Pigtail plugs when you are having trouble with the connection to the Deutsch power.

You should make sure that they are inserted in the correct positions.

In addition to this, check to see that the positive (red) and negative (black) wires are connected correctly.

No Retraction

Actuators Are Not Linked To Each Other

So, it would be best to make sure that your Actuators’ connectors are connected correctly.

Unconnected Black Molex Plug

If the black Molex on your Lenco trim tabs is not connected correctly, you may have trouble using it.

If this happens, you need to check the Molex plug on the back of the keypad to ensure the connection is working.

By taking the keypad off the upper station, you can tell if the extension cable causes the problem or not.

After that, you need to connect directly to the Molex cable that comes out of the controller.

Keypad Buttons Failure

If any of your keypad’s buttons aren’t working right, you should look at the actuator.

Before you can test the actuator, you need to take apart the Deutsch plug on the back of the controller. Also, test each actuator by getting electricity to the right place.

No Movement

If the trim tabs on your plane don’t move at all, check the panel of the fuse box to see if a fuse has blown.

For you to do this, 20 amps are the amount that is recommended. Checking to see if the control assembly can stand on its own is of the utmost importance.

If the lights on the helm keypad aren’t working, check the wires and connectors to see if any connections are broken or corrupted.

Lenco is run by two simple motors that turn in opposite directions. It is possible to connect the white and black wires of the actuator directly to a power source.
